GENERAL INFORMATION 1 - WORKSHOP and RETREAT

BALANCES: Your balance is due June 1. All workshop attendees MUST send ONE COPY of their manuscript with their balance by June 1. Some classes may accept electronic submissions. You will be notified if yours is one of them. If you do not receive such notification, please send your balance and manuscript to arrive by June 1.
REFUNDS: A $100 cancellation fee is charged through May 1st. From May 1st to June 7th there is a $175 cancellation fee. There will be no refunds after June 7th unless we can refill your spot.
If you are not accepted, your entire deposit will be returned.
CLASS INFORMATION: These are "working" workshops where your manuscript is critiqued and given the attention it deserves. Class sizes are 10 or less and leadership is at the Master Class level. You may submit a manuscript to only one workshop, but you may audit others. You are in class approximately 2 hours a day.
SCHEDULE: There are activities every night. Meals are at 8:00, 12:00 & 6:00.
ACCEPTANCE LETTER: Your acceptance letter will contain a full schedule, a detailed map, what to wear & bring, and a reminder of balances, manuscripts, etc.

WE FILL UP EARLY! Please remember that Wildacres fills up quickly. For the Writers Workshop Program we can sleep 90 attendees plus faculty & working staff. The Writers Retreat Program can sleep 40 attendees. We always have a waiting list for both.
